A Sweet Rescue

Meet the newest member of our family, Elam.  A sweet, loving, velvet eared, thick-skulled, hound dog.  Found helplessly running along the road, he quickly traveled right into our hearts.  Although chewed blinds, carpets, and ornamental birds were not on my list of chores with a new baby on my hands, the look of appreciation in Elam's eyes makes it all worthwhile.  And Emmit sure is in love with him too.  We are now a family of five and life is good!
