An AMAzing aMEREKin Life

      We spent a wonderful Halloween in Melbourne Trick or Treating with the Gorham family.  Oma and Jopa drove with us to meet Baby Hulk and the other Avengers for some door to door entertainment only Elwood can provide!  Ama opted to stick to her milk-only diet but looks forward to trick or treating with her big cousin next year. Dressed as my little strawberry, she was actually my perfect angel.  She was amazingly content in my arms as we walked the neighborhood and watched Elwood learn the reward for bravely approaching his neighbors' doors.  Kids make Halloween so fun!!!         TA DA!!       So  much love between these cousins already!         It is always a treat when the Gorman's make the trip to hang out in Fort Pierce!  Along with their kids, Aiden and Addison, we were lucky enough to have our niece Grace join in on the fun. We visited the farm, spent hours in our pool, and gathered at the Hamm's house to celebrate Hannah's birthday party.  Everyone squeezed in some great snuggle time with Ama when Monique wasn't looking. If Mo caught your eye you would quickly lose your snuggle partner. Ama is lucky to be so loved!! Meet the newest member of our family, Elam.  A sweet, loving, velvet eared, thick-skulled, hound dog.  Found helplessly running along the road, he quickly traveled right into our hearts.  Although chewed blinds, carpets, and ornamental birds were not on my list of chores with a new baby on my hands, the look of appreciation in Elam's eyes makes it all worthwhile.  And Emmit sure is in love with him too.  We are now a family of five and life is good!     Our baby girl is a month old and we are in awe at her growth. She has been feeding almost hourly at night in order to grow those strong, healthy bones another 3 inches!!  Packing milk into those adorable cheeks of hers has also added 3lbs to the scale!  She gets stronger every day, holding her head up impressively well and able to look all around.   Joepa calls her 'The Observer' and loves holding her as she takes in this chaotic world.  She is calm and patient, letting out warning squeaks and chirps when she needs something.  She has joined us on several excursions including an afternoon at the Food Truck Invasion in Tradition.
